SOULED OUT, LEVEL 9, SLEDGE - LIVE AT UNWIND CENTRE,  BANGALORE

Spykar Jeans JRO 2006 proclaims just that - NO MORE TERRITORY! The classic Sepultura song with the same title was the song of the evening for the 2nd week of the JRO 2006 festival at Unwind Center, Bangalore!

A Band from Bangalore, band from Delhi and a band from Hyderabad. To add to it, the band from Delhi, had guys from Darjeeling, Kolkatta and who knows wherever. Rock just brought a great cross section of India together, on one stage. Oh the bonhomie of rock!

Buzz. Definitely to watch out for next time, the energy from these young boys was really infectious and there a lot of talented guitar playing there too.

Level 9 - from New Delhi

What can we say? The band was simply out of this world. With a 12th grade girl holding the front duties (Michelle), a bass player who was contagious with his grooves (Clarence), an amazing guitar player (Anirudh), the list goes on. All 7 of them were a class apart individually and as one phenomenal band!

Buzz. They would just break out into jam sessions in between songs. You could even see them mouthing the chords to each other and then there was this classic break by Adhiraj, the drummer - silence for 2 sec and he breaks into a hideous laugh, and continues to play! Man they were having fun and rocking.

The band brought alive the JRO catch phrase - Feel The Heat, as the venue transformed into a cool moshpit as they shifted gears to extreme metal versions of:
